We're just one week out from the start of MEA testing, and the DoE is piling on information about the assessment fast and furious.  Here is what you need to know.

1. Test Administration Manuals

The Test Administration manuals are now available for next week's assessments.  They are not quick and easy reads, but are required nonetheless.  You can access the TAMs on the left side of this page under "Quick Links."  Proctors should access the "Test Administration Manual," and School Test Coordinators should access the "School Test Coordinator Manual."  Reading the manuals must be done before signing the Test Security Agreement.

2. Test Security

Two updates on test security.  First, Measured Progress released a 10-or-so minute webinar discussing some details of test security measures during the MEA tests.  A link to the webinar is provided in the top-right corner of the MEA Assessment Portal.  Also in the top-right corner of the MEA Assessment Portal are Test Security Agreements (TSAs) that you must sign before administering or participating in the administering of the test in anyway.  There is a TSA for proctors and a TSA for School Test Coordinators.  Make sure you select the correct one before printing it off.  PLEASE NOTE:  Signing a TSA implies that you have read the Test Administration Manual, so please do so before turning in a signed agreement.

Agreements should be turned into or routed to the Central Office before the end of the day on Friday, March 18th.

3. Staff Meetings

More information will be presented at your building's staff meetings this week.  We will be watching the Test Security webinar, discussing some of the more critical parts of the Test Administration Manual, and going over universal tools and accommodations.  Please bring your laptops with you to your staff meeting.
